The LC Foods Snack Packs Review
There are days when you just don’t have the time or energy to pack a low carb snack for yourself/family/child/cat but know that without that snack, you may fall prey to a Bad Choice. Once you get hungry, the stomach-brain will overpower the brain-brain and next thing you know, that bag of chips is starting to look mighty fine.Enter LC Foods (why yes, the “LC” DOES stand for Low Carb), a company that specializes in making low carbohydrate (as well as gluten free and paleo low carb!) food products.
I was fortunate enough to be sent a sampler pack of products to try out and consider for a review. If I don’t like a product, you’ll never hear about it from me. Momma always said, if you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say it.
But that rule won’t apply here, because wowee, these are some darn tasty snack packs.
What sets these snack packs aside from a bag of standard nuts/seeds are the dehydrated berries/vegetables/cheese that pack an extra whomp of flavor. Good lord, the raspberry/coconut/pumpkin seed mix could be a dessert for me. And I’m not a fan of bell peppers in general, but the cheddar/pumpkin seed/bell pepper mix was my personal favorite. The dehydrated peppers were nice and sweet and paired nicely with the seeds and cheese.
I was so eager to gobble down the cheddar/almond/bell pepper mix that I forgot to take a picture. I brought a snack pack to work each day, poured the pack out onto a plate and nibbled on it while working. Probably a sign of a sad state of affairs, but the snack pack was definitely one of the better moments of my work day that week.
One of the packs was also used as part of a cookie mix, and worked out really well.
