It was pretty weird feeling the first few times I went shopping after changing my eating habits. I wasn’t sure what to buy, what to reach for. I knew NOT to get my delicious Special K and milk, but… but.. what would I eat now?? Below is a low carb shopping list full of suggestions.
Before you even buy food – ask yourself the following:
1. Will you commit to the food you are buying that you WILL prepare it?
If yes, continue.
2. What kind of time do you have for cooking and WILL you MAKE that time to cook?
If yes, continue.
I have broken it out into various food groups and “prep time”.
Veggies

Meat

Sausages | Under 10 minutes | Sautee batch to eat over next few days |
Bacon | Under 20 minutes | Bake big batch at once, eat rest of week |
Hunk of lamb/cow/pig | Under 60 minutes | Pressure cooker |
Chicken | Under 40 minutes | Sautee, bake, buy pre cooked |

Dark chocolate (over 90% if you can find it)
